This notice explains how calmea AG ("calmea", "we") processes personal data collected through the contact form on this website.

When you submit the contact form, we process the fields you provide. Which fields apply depends on the option you select:

Our website hosting provider, Netlify, additionally processes technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and a timestamp) as part of delivering and securing the site. Netlify retains these server logs for up to 30 days for performance monitoring and security diagnostics before they are automatically deleted.
We use the data solely to respond to and handle your enquiry.
If you select "Interested in working at calmea," we process your data specifically to evaluate your candidacy. Unsuccessful application materials are retained for a standard period of 6 months after the position is filled to address any follow-up questions, after which they are securely deleted, unless you have explicitly consented to us keeping your profile on file for future opportunities.
Form submissions are captured and stored by our website host and form processor, Netlify (Netlify, Inc.). Netlify acts as our processor and may store data on servers outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States. To safeguard your data, these international transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adherence to the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Frameworks.
Aside from Netlify and our email dispatch provider (detailed below), no other third-party processors (such as external CRMs) are currently used to handle this form data.
If you submit the newsletter form, we process your email address to send you updates about the consumer launch on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw this consent and unsubscribe at any time via the link provided at the bottom of each email, or by contacting us directly.
These emails are dispatched via a secure external email service provider acting as our data processor. All data processed by this provider is handled securely, and any international transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses.
The contact page embeds a Google Maps integration. To protect your privacy, the map is configured with a "click-to-load" approach. This means the map will not load, and no data (including your IP address) is transmitted to Google (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC), until you explicitly click to activate it. Once activated, Google's own privacy policy applies to the data processed.
We keep general enquiry data for 12 months after our last point of contact, after which it is securely deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law or a formalized ongoing business relationship.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, please contact privacy@calmea.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your local data protection authority.
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always available at this address.
